Reducing gender-based violence by engaging men and adolescent boys as partners in building a more equitable and peaceful society.
Trees for Peace
Inviting schools to plant trees and create peace gardens as a symbol of collective commitment to a safer, more harmonious Jamaica.
Drum Therapy
Using the therapeutic power of rhythm to reduce tension, anxiety and stress among children in residential care across Jamaica.
Child Resiliency
Building competencies in pre-adolescents across Jamaica to prevent multiple problems and promote physical, social, cognitive and moral growth.
Community Advancement for Peace (CAPP)
A hospital-based intervention at Kingston Public Hospital targeting high-risk youth aged 10–29 in Whitfield Town and Trench Town.
CAMP Cornwall
A hospital-based violence prevention intervention at the Cornwall Regional Hospital, reducing the effects of violence on children and youth.
End Violence — INSPIRE
Implementing the seven WHO-led evidence-based strategies for ending violence against children across Jamaica’s communities.
Crime Monitoring & Oversight Committee
An independent nonpartisan body monitoring Jamaica’s national consensus on crime reduction and keeping the public engaged on progress.
National Commission on Violence Prevention
A high-level national body providing strategic leadership and coordination on violence prevention across all sectors of Jamaica.

Citizen Security and Justice Programme (CSJP)
A multi-faceted crime and violence prevention initiative of the Ministry of National Security, focusing on building community safety and security.
Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA)
Leader in Jamaica’s child protection system, formed from a merger of the Child Development Agency and the Office of Children’s Registry.
Peace Management Initiative Western
Established in 2004 in response to violence in volatile communities in St. James, using community-based conflict resolution.
Victim Services Division
Provides healing and therapeutic intervention opportunities to assist the Ministry of Justice in balancing justice for all victims of crime.
