End Violence — INSPIRE
Seven Strategies to End Violence Against Children
About INSPIRE
INSPIRE is a WHO-led global initiative that presents seven evidence-based strategies for ending violence against children. VPA Jamaica is committed to implementing these strategies across our programmes and advocating for their adoption at the national policy level.
The 7 INSPIRE Strategies
- 1.Implementation and enforcement of laws
- 2.Norms and values — changing social and cultural attitudes
- 3.Safe environments — creating spaces where children thrive
- 4.Parent and caregiver support
- 5.Income and economic strengthening
- 6.Response and support services
- 7.Education and life skills
VPA Jamaica's Commitment
VPA Jamaica works to embed the INSPIRE framework across all programmes, ensuring that our evidence-based approaches target the root causes of violence against children and build lasting protective factors in families and communities across Jamaica.
